EU Procurement Rules

The Danish Competition Authority participates in the EU co-operation under both the auspices of the Council and the Commission, including the preparation of new rules of law. Additionally, the Authority’s purpose is to implement the EU procurement rules into Danish law.

Nordic Co-operation

The Danish Competition Authority co-operates with the key contracting authorities in the other Nordic countries. A biannual meeting facilitates the exchange of experience, including discussions on matters and issues of mutual interest. Moreover, a continuous co-operation on concrete matters is taking place.

Public Procurement Network – PPN

The Danish Competition Authority has initiated the setting-up of a network between a broad spectrum of European countries, the so-called Public Procurement Network. The purpose of the network is to strengthen the use and the enforcement of the procurement rules, through mutual exchange of experience and through informal complaints handling. The network meets once a year.

WTO

The Danish Competition Authority monitors the negotiations on WTO’s procurement contract and the bilateral agreements.
